Jesus said do not worry about anything but pray about everything. He knows our needs before we ask but we connect with Him through prayer. Jesus gave his disciples (and us) a pattern of how to pray in The Lord's Prayer:
"Our Father in heaven, Your name be honored as
holy. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not bring us into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen" (Matthew 6:9-13).
Think About It
Jesus wants us to recognize who He is, His character,
presence, His power to provide, forgive and keep us from temptation. He wants us
to trust Him with everything. He wants a relationship with each of us. He
doesn't expect big words or fancy language--just words from our

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for teaching us how to pray. Thank
