My Way, or God’s Way? One Minute Devotional From Acts

”So in the present case I tell you, keep away from these men and let them alone, for if this plan or this undertaking is of man, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!” So they took his advice,“

‭‭-Acts‬ ‭5‬:‭38‬-‭39‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Ever try to make plans for your life and realize it wasn't in line with God's will?

If we try to plan things without God, they will fail. They might seem to work for a little while, but I love how this passage speaks on God's authority on the plans in a person's life.

God has a 100% success rate. He never fails. Even if it seems like what he has you walking through is a failure- hold tight to him and his guidance, with him it will turn out ok.

Sometimes it seems like following ourselves instead of God's plan is the best route. We think we know what should happen, but in all reality, we can just wish for things. In the end, it's God's plan that succeeds. Looking back, you will realize that God's way is the best way. I'm so thankful that God's plans for my life happened instead of my own.

Where in your life do you need to let go and let God? Whatever you're walking through today, know that you have all you need if you have God.

Let us drop our own plans of authority before the Lord today and let Him guide us. Trust in the Lord and His strength today. We don't have to rely on our own!

”I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building."

-‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬-‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬
